Talk about living on the edge.
Casa Brutale, the name of the proposed home, is “an unclad statement on the simplicity and harmony of contemporary architecture,” according to OPA.
Because OPA still has some technical details to iron out, the construction costs aren’t definite.
“The building [has to] be built in particular type of rock, which makes finding the appropriate plot more difficult,” OPA architect Laertis-Antonios Ando Vassiliou told CNBC. Still, the company estimates that construction will cost roughly 500,000 to 1 million euros.
Though Casa Brutale was designed with Greece in mind, OPA, which has an office there, is open to moving it elsewhere, if necessary.
